Salary:  $25 CAD/month via Interac E-Transfer or PayPal

Requirements: 

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in content or community moderation or similar role.

• Excellent written and verbal communication is essential.

• Ability to notice nuanced violations of guidelines and identify problematic content is crucial.

• Moderators must be able to make sound judgments to differentiate between appropriate and inappropriate content quickly and accurately. 

• Maintaining composure and professionalism, especially when dealing with sensitive or challenging situations, is a key requirement.

• Proficiency with moderation tools, platforms, and other software is necessary to perform duties effectively. 

• Moderators must be able to adapt to evolving guidelines, policies, and emerging digital threats.

• A strong understanding of online communities, social dynamics, and internet trends is beneficial.

• Knowledge of relevant laws such as copyright and harassment is important.The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is a common expectation.

• Moderators must have a tough mental state and resilience to handle potentially disturbing or gruesome content encountered during moderation.
